Wow this is very interesting the fact that Facebook has went down 10% in a timeframe and Linked-In has doubled shows that individuals are merely taking over the marketing process. At least in my opinion that's what I got out of this.
Linked-In seems promising, however it does seem like a lot work in regards to continuously changing profiles. Although it has grown in and stocks have risen I don't think it will be as valuable to marketers as well as consumers as some other social media such as twitter, and facebook.
I completely agree that companies are taking advantage of LinkedIn more and more. The company I current work for has just recently rolled out a recruiting strategy to fill multiple positions we currently have open. One of things they are asking employees to do is post job openings on their LinkedIn profile so that their networks can see. I think LinkedIn unlike Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites has a better reputation, if used correctly, to deliver the results companies are desiring.
This is the interesting article. I had no idea about Linkin two months ago. however, the moment I wanted to find a job, my friend offered the linkin to me. I was totally surprised by this good website or app. I can even find jobs in China or Japan through Linkin. It is amazing, it also tells me that if you pay attention, you can get chance to be successful everywhere.
