I think video marketing is an excellent way to send a message to the customer. It can also be an effective method internally to communicate with employees on what the customer is receiving and to keep them informed of important business decisions, the state of the company and various other announcements.

I think this is a good idea for companies. I am actually surprised that more companies haven't been using videos as advertisements sooner. In the new era of increased technology people greater enjoy watching videos than reading something. People are getting more and more lazy, so watching a video is much more appealing than reading a paragraph or looking at a still picture. I expect video advertising to continue to increase in popularity.

I think this is a big step for companies to keep their customers informed on upcoming information. Video marketing can also show how well a company is doing just by the feedback from costumers. I believe one way you can grab an audience is by showing them a video or moving pictures. Usually when consumers read things it tends to get boring and not serve its purpose. Im glad video marketing is increasing, it just goes to show how technology is being implemented in companies.

From my own personal experience, I know that video marketing can be effective, but only if done right. I go on YouTube to search for cooking videos and a lot of times companies produce videos teaching users how to cook a specific meal with their products. For instance, during Thanksgiving I went on YouTube to find videos on how to properly cook a turkey. One of the most helpful was made by Butterball. This is called stealth marketing. Consumers can learn a useful talent, while also subtly being advertised to.
